Meditation

What is Meditation?

Meditation is nature's antidote to stress and anxiety.

During meditation you experience mental calmness and ease. This continues long after meditation ceases and it is ongoing into your everyday life.

When practiced regularly, anxiety levels are reduced and symptoms gradually disappear – bringing you a more peaceful, balanced life.

The meditation that I practice doesn’t involve philosophy or religion nor is it a pathway to spiritual enlightenment. It is merely a means of reducing anxiety and stress.

How Do You Meditate?

Firstly it is very important to realise that mental ease cannot be achieved without first having physical relaxation. If your body is tense then it is so because the brain is sending messages to the muscles to hold them tense. When you let go of the physical tension you also let go of the mental tension that caused it.

The second part is to learn how to mentally relax. This is best learned through instruction. My low cost Bookbook shows guides you through the simple techniques and gives you more information.

I have prepared a video below to get you started. It is best to listen to it using headphones and with your eyes closed. If you cannot close your eyes then simply watch the screen but try to concentrate on the instructions. If your mind wanders then dont worry just relax and return to the instructions.
